Poetry skins myself,
makes me hollow as wind
reaching sharp rocks,
like a conscious dart against my will
defining my very soul,
like a void vein overwhelming
the beat of my heart.
Rude and overflowing,
writing is a both a shelter and a gift
against who I am to be
